Jeffrey C Kane

Jeffrey C. Kane, 72, of Chillicothe, unexpectedly passed from this life on Sunday November 17, 2024 in the Adena Regional Medical Center.  He was born on June 8, 1952, in Chillicothe, the son of Howard and Eunice (Pfeifer) Kane.  On June 12, 1970 he married his high school sweetheart Linda Oldaker, and together they shared 54 years of marriage.

Surviving is his wife Linda, a daughter, Crystal Miller, Chillicothe; a son, Jeffrey A. (Heather) Kane, Canal Winchester; grandchildren, Taylor Miller, Brandon Kane, Kinsley Kane, and Trenton Kane-Sapp, a sister, Jana (Joe) Enderle, Waverly; a sister-in-law, Vicki Diehl, a nephew, Mark (Aya) Diehl, a niece, Angela Johnson, several good friends from RCA, and his 6 cats. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Ralph and Opal Pfeifer, dogs, Pierre and Mattie, and several cats.

Jeff was a 1970 graduate of CHS.  He worked for RCA as an electrician for 32 years, he was a hard worker, often working 16-hour days.  Jeff was a member of the Community of Christ Church, and involved in the RCA golf league and bowling league. He also had many hobbies including riding his Harley, playing billiards, watching OSU football, the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals.  Jeff loved his family and will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday November 23, 2024 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Harry Harrel, officiating.  Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Garden.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service on Saturday.  An online memorial is available at www.fawcett-palmer.com.
