Jean Dalton

On Tuesday morning, March 20, 2012 , the Lord came down and put his loving arms around Jean Ann Dalton and took her home. She was born March 8, 1943 in Toledo , Ohio , the daughter of the late Charles L. and Helen (Patton) Dalton .

Surviving are her sisters, Charlen (Gordon) Baumgartner, Livingston, TN, her twin sister, Jane Snyder, Apple Valley, CA and Barbara (Tom) Williams, Waterloo, OH; her brother, Dennis (Rita) Dalton, South Charleston, OH; a host of nieces and nephews; close friends, Sonia, Lila and Don and her church family and her beloved animals.  She was preceded in death by her long time companion, Joe Turner.

Jean was a member of the Jefferson Ave. Church of Christ in Christian Union and enjoyed singing in the choir. She loved animals.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 24, 2012 in the Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ in Christian Union with Pastor Mark Clendaniel officiating. Private interment will be held in Union Cemetery , Columbus , Ohio at the discretion of the family. Calling hours will not be observed. The FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME is serving the family. Memorial contributions may be made in Jean’s memory to the Jefferson Avenue CCCU.
