Janice J. Fernandez Clester

Janice J. Fernandez Clester, 83 of Pinellas Park, Florida, formerly of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Monday, February 6, 2023 in HCA Florida Northside Hospital, St. Petersburg, Florida following an extended illness.  She was born January 3, 1940 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Marcus Charles and Gladys (Burden) Harris.  She was married to Louis P. Fernandez who preceded her in death in 1983.  She later married Lester Clester, who survives.

Also surviving is her daughter, Lolita (Lola) Fernandez and companion, Michael Weaver, Chillicothe.  She was preceded in death by her sons, P.J. Fernandez, B.J. Fernandez and L.J. Fernandez, her sisters, Shirley Bethel and Barbara Hines and her brother, Charles Harris.

Janice was a Registered Nurse, retiring from the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

In keeping with her wishes, private services and interment in Grandview Cemetery will be held at the discretion of the family.  Memorial contributions in Janice’s memory may be made to a charity of choice.
