Janet Diane Hamm, 66, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Saturday, Apr. 25, 2009 in Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born July 6, 1942 in Mt. Clemens, MI, the daughter of Charles and Doris (Turcott) Benson. On Sept. 27, 1969 she married Ernest F. Hamm who survives. Also surviving are daughters, Kim Seeling, Chillicothe and Deidre (Nathan) Whitt, Dunnellon, FL, grandchildren, Ryan Seeling, Alilia Diane Whitt and Sophia Ann Whitt and brothers, Gary (Val) Benson, Carl (Cheryl) Benson, Gregg Benson, Paul (Andrea) Benson, all of MI and Bobby Turcott, OK. Her parents and a brother preceded her in death. Mrs. Hamm was an artist and will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, Apr. 29, 2009 in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday.
