James E. "Buddy" Spencer, Jr., 51, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Friday afternoon, Mar. 14, 2008 in Select Specialty Hospital, Columbus as the result of injuries from an auto accident in Sept., 2007. He was born Dec. 29, 1956 in Chillicothe, the son of James E. Spencer, Sr., and Lucille A. Leasure. Surviving are his mother and step-father, Lucille and Dale Winland, Chillicothe, his former wife, Faye Spencer, a son, James Henry Spencer, Columbus, sisters, Lola Seymour, Washington C.H., Kelly Post, Chillicothe and Betsy Yerling, Columbus, brothers, Jamie Post and Joey Spencer, both of Chillicothe and special friends, Larry and Phyllis Leasure. His father, 2 sisters and a brother preceded him in death. Mr. Spencer was a laborer and had attended Sugar Run Church. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, Mar. 19, 2008 in Charleston Cemetery with Rev. Larry Leasure officiating. Calling hours will not be observed. The Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home are serving the family.
