James Lambert

James Lambert, 76, of Wakefield, passed from this life Thursday morning, Feb. 8, 2007 in the VA Medical Center, Chillicothe following an extended illness. He was born Feb. 23, 1930 in Doney, KY, the son of Edward E. and Mary E. (Elliott) Lambert. On Nov. 27, 1953 he married Erma J. Burchett who survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Lavone (John) Veloski, Wakefield, a son, Gerry (Mary) Lambert, Warren, OH, grandchildren, Jeremy and Stephanie Lambert and Edward Lambert, a sister, Kansas (Kay) Gilliam, Lincoln Park, MI and brothers, Claude Lambert, Pickerington, OH, Donald Lambert, Minford, OH and Walden Lambert, Beaver, OH. His parents, a daughter, Deborah, sisters, Opal and Hazel and brothers Moscow, Marvin and Charles preceded him in death. Mr. Lambert was an employee of Kennametal Corporation, retiring in 1990. He was a US Army veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict. Private services will be held at the discretion of the family.
