Jack Russell Martin, Sr.

Jack Russell Martin, Sr., 77,  of Chillicothe passed from this life on Sunday Nov. 26, 2023 in the Adena Regional Medical Center.  He was born on Dec. 30, 1945 in Ross County to the late William and Helen (Woodruff) Martin.  On Oct. 10, 1965 he married Linda Adams, who preceded him in death on Nov. 21, 2015.

Surviving are his sons, Jack R. (Michele) Martin, Jr., and Randy Martin, both of Chillicothe; and Jeffery (Terri) Martin, Lucasville; son-in-law, Greg DePugh, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a sister, Connie Hoffman, and a brother, Tom Martin, both of Columbus.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Melinda DePugh.

Jack was a roofer for B&B Roofing, retiring in 2001.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to Kathy and Hubie for their amazing care of Jack.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday Nov. 30, 2023 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME, with Pastor Rick Hartley, officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Thursday.
