Howard H. Hilsheimer

Howard H. Hilsheimer, 92, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Saturday evening, June 7, 2008 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born May 18, 1916 in Chillicothe, the son of Charles and Elizabeth (Ginther) Hilsheimer. On Nov. 9, 1938 he married Lucille Rhinehart who survives. Also surviving is his daughter, Linda Hilsheimer, his extended family, Michele Stemple and Ronnie Kellough, all of Chillicothe, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and special friends and caregivers, Bonnie, Bea, Tim and Donna. His parents, a daughter, Bonnie, a sister and 4 brothers preceded him in death. Mr. Hilsheimer was a farmer for many years and was a Past President of the Farmers Union. Her was a member of Bishop Hill United Methodist Church, the Elks Lodge, Elmdale Grange and had served for many years as a Forest Fire Warden. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, June 11, 2008 in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with Rev. Hayden Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday.
