Helen Frances Smith

Helen Frances Smith, 89, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Sunday, July 5, 2015 in Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.  She was born March 19, 1926 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Fred B. and Goldie (Nourse) Earl.  In 1945 she married Franklin C. Smith who preceded her in death in 1988.

Surviving is a daughter, Sharon Lang, Chillicothe; grandchildren, April (Eric) Foster and Kristine (Tony) Gallaugher; great-grandchildren, Courtney Lang, Morgan and Sydney Gallaugher and Nathan, Ben and Abby Foster; and great-great-grandchildren, Wednesday and Ember.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Stephen C. Smith, a sister and a brother.

Mrs. Smith was retired form Rink’s Bargain City.  She was a member of Tyler Memorial United Methodist Church.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 10, 2015 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Donald Mundy officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made to Tyler Memorial United Methodist Church.
