Helen Sasarak

On Monday, November 23, 2009, God called home Helen Christian Sasarak of Chillicothe. She was born March 26, 1919 in Wellston, Ohio, to the late Charles and Bessie (Jones) Christian. On April 10, 1964 she married Michael Sasarak who preceded her in death March 3, 1991. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Lovetta (Pearl) Bunch, Juanita (Eugene) James and Norma Jean Booth and a brother, Charles (Tod) Christian. Surviving are nieces, Shirley (Joel) Mitten and Kathy May, all of Chillicothe, Claire (David) Mullen, Ft. Thomas, KY, nephews, Richard E. (Ola) James, Canal Fulton, OH, Gregory L. Christian, Mt. View, CA, John E. (Lynn) Christian, Dumfries, VA and Theodore N. (Kelly) Christian, Cincinnati, OH, great nieces, Susan (Scott) Adkins, Debra (Stephen) Humphrey, Angela (Jay) Gowan, Angel (Paul II) Francis, Erica (Christopher) Plath, Sarah, Phoebe, Chloe and Holly Christian, great nephews, Richard C. James, Aaron (Melissa) Mitten, Phillip R. May, Nathan, Zachary and Alexander Christian and several great-great nieces and nephews. Helen was a 1937 graduate of Chillicothe High School and was retired from the Employee Benefits Department of Mead Paper after 38
