Gwynneth Mary (Dailey) Meeker

Gwynneth Mary (Dailey) Meeker, 88, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Thursday June 19, 2025 in Hopewell Grove Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.  She was born on December 22, 1936 in Chillicothe, the daughter of the late Lyle Andrew and Sarah Dorothy (Wilson) Dailey.  On May 12, 1957 she married Ronald G. Meeker, who preceded her in death on July 24, 2012.

Surviving are her children, Debbie Bennett, Bob (Kathy) Meeker, and Greg Meeker, grandchildren, Jason Bennett, Andy (Jennifer) Bennett, Sarah (Ryan) Fisher, Aaron Meeker, and Emalee (DJ) Richards, great-grandchildren, Brody Bennett, Kohlson and Ivy Fisher, Caroline, Watson, Emberlee, and Daxton Richards, brothers, James (Linda) Dailey, and David (Pat) Dailey, and special friend and neighbor, Ferrill Perry.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughters-in-law, Tina and Dorraine Meeker, and her son-in-law, Wayne Bennett.

Gwynneth had retired from Pickaway-Ross Vocational School. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends when she was still able.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed passing out “Momma Dollars”- a dollar bill adorned with an apple sticker.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday June 24, 2025 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Chaplain Stan Kirtlan, officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Kingston.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Tuesday.  Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 116 Morris Rd B, Circleville, OH 43113.  An online memorial guest book is available at www.fawcett-palmer.com.
