Gloria E. Miller, 75 of Chillicothe, passed from this life, 4:30 am, Tuesday, September 27, 2011, at her residence following an extended illness. She was born August 20, 1936, in Ross County the daughter of James R. and Mary E. Southward Detty. On August 9, 1975, she married George Miller who survives. Also surviving are 5 daughters, Susannah (Harvey) Fraizer, Cathy Ann(Tony) Althouse, Kimberly Dearth, all of Chillicothe, Tina Marie (Steve)Pritchard, Circleville and Judith Llama, Amanda; five sons, Terry F. (Patricia) Hawk, Robert J. (Toni) Hawk, Donald L. (Ann) Hawk, George A Miller, and Robert E. (Deborah) Miller, all of Chillicothe. 28 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Sue (Lex) Hawk, Bernice (Robert)Duffy, both of Chillicothe, and Elaine Pruitt TX; and three brothers James (Thelma) Detty, Wendell Detty, and Marvin L. (Jan) Detty all of Chillicothe. Mrs. Miller was a retired Laundry Worker from the VAMC, Chillicothe. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, Sept 30, 2011 in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Hines officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 11:00 am until the hour of service.
