Gloria D. Milella

Gloria D. Milella, 78, of Chillicothe , passed from this life early Wednesday morning, Feb. 22, 2012 in Westmoreland Place following a battle with cancer and a recent stroke. She was born Oct. 15, 1933 in Ross County , the daughter of the late Heber and Mabel Looker.

Surviving are her daughters, Ruth A. (Steve) Adkins, Jennifer L. (Paul) Dalton and Rachel Milella; her sons, Donald Milella, Mark Milella and David Milella; grandchildren, Ryan L. (Eva) Milella and Julia Skinner; a great-grandchild, Shalynn Milella, all of Chillicothe; a sister, Judy Snyder and brothers, Gene and Roy Looker, all of Florida. She was recently preceded in death by her sister, Linda Weeks.

Mrs. Milella was employed by a local physician for several years. She enjoyed gardening, mushroom hunting, walking in the woods and taking car rides with her son, Donald.

Private services will be held at the discretion of the family. Calling hours will not be observed. The FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME is serving the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Adena Health Foundation, Cancer Fund, 272 Hospital Rd. , Chillicothe , OH
