Glen E. Adams

Glen E. “Bud” Adams, 79 of Chillicothe passed from this life on Monday, May 10, 2021 at his residence following an extended illness.  He was born July 6, 1941 in Chillicothe, the son of Thomas E. and Louise (Fowler) Adams.  His wife, Jean (Chapman) Adams preceded him in death.

Surviving are his sons, Danny L. (Jill) Adams and Michael L. (Amy) Adams, all of Chillicothe; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Peggy Mattox, Jane Adams, and Kathy (Hubert) Cottrill, all of Chillicothe, and a host of nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his son, Glen E. Adams, Jr.; sisters, Judy, Barbara Jean, Linda, and Connie; and brothers, Thomas E., Jr., Creed Richard, and John W.

Mr. Adams was a retired Corrections Officer at C.C.I. with 27 years of service.  He was an avid fisherman and mushroom hunter.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 14, 2021 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Chaplin Cathy Haddox officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Friday.  Social distancing and masks are requested.
