George E. Kramer, 83 of Chillicothe, passed from this life 2:55 pm, Saturday, May 30, 2009 in the Chillicothe Nursing and Rehabilitation, following an extended illness. Graveside services will be held 1:30 pm, Wednesday, June 3, 2009 in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Fawcett Palmer Funeral Home from 12:30 pm to 1:15 pm on Wednesday. He was born August 28, 1925 in Kingston, the son of George and Sable Carper Kramer. On March 31, 1952 he married Opal Chaffin. Surviving are two daughters, Bonnie Manson and Connie Kinzer, one son George "Mike" Kramer; three grandchildren Heidi Kramer, Angie Hopper, and Joe Manson; five great grandchildren; and one brother Richard Kramer of Kingston. One brother Paul Kramer preceded him in death. Mr. Kramer was a retired laborer from US Shoe Corporation.
