Gene E. Ferrell

Gene E. "Butch" Ferrell, 69, Tampa, FL, passed away unexpected at home on Tuesday December 14, 2010. He was born September 24, 1941 in Richmondale, OH, to Mary A. McIntyre Ferrell and Ralph W. Ferrell, Sr. Gene is survived by his son Shawn E. Ferrell, (Susan) and only grandchild, Samantha Ferrell of Dover, FL; his daughter Trisha (Todd) Crites, New Albany, OH; brother Ralph W. "Chuck" Ferrell Jr., of Richmondale, OH; sister Eleanor Richards of Ocala, FL; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, a brother Terry Ferrell and a sister Bernice Kempton. Mr. Ferrell moved to Florida in 1981. He was a retired electrician and briefly owned his own business. He was a member of Scioto Lodge #6 F & AM. A memorial service will be held in his honor at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 28, 2010 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Larry Ault officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until the hour of service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers donations may be to Scioto Lodge # 6 F & AM, 57 E.
