Gary D. Ramsey

Gary Deane Ramsey, 67 of Chillicothe, passed from this life 3:15 am, Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at his residence following an ongoing illness.
He was born March 29, 1948, in Chillicothe the son of David F. and Ella Louise Cox Ramsey. June 6, 1980, he married Vickey Carroll who survives.
Also surviving are a sister, Cheryl L. Ramsey, Chillicothe a brother and sister-in-law, Dennis M. and Deborah L. Ramsey, Richmond Dale, numerous nieces and nephews including special nieces Brittney Carroll, Gracie Ball, a special friend Larry Lunsford, sisters-in-law Anna Carroll and Deborah Grant, and a brother-in-law Jack Carroll. His mother, mother-in-law and father-in-law preceded him in death.
Mr. Ramsey worked for the City of Chillicothe Water Department, retiring in 2011. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Free and Accepted Masons.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS & PALMER Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Ault officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 PM Monday.
