Frances D. Stanhope

Frances D. Stanhope, 74 of Chillicothe, passed from this life, 10:26 am, Saturday, December 1, 2007, at Traditions of Chillicothe following a brief illness. She was born, June 7, 1933 in Chillicothe, the daughter of the late George and the late Anna Smith Stoneburner. Surviving are a daughter Carolyn Ward, Chillicothe; one son Stephen Stanhope, Kingston; 5 grandchildren, Deborah, Joseph and Nicole Manuel, Johnathen Thacker, and Dakota Stanhope; one great grandchild, Aiden Lane; three sisters Virginia Fisher, Chillicothe, Barbara Speakmen, Lancaster, and Sally Skiver, Lancaster; three brothers Orville Stoneburner, Chillicothe, George Stoneburner, Nevada, and Robert Stoneburner, Chillicothe;a special friend, Earline Heaton, and several nieces nephews and friends. 1 daughter, Deborah Stanhope North, and 4 brothers preceded her in death. Mrs. Stanhope was a former employee of US Shoe, a waitress for many years, but her proudest accomplishment was raising her children, and being a Co-ad Foster Grandparent in the Chillicothe City School System. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 4, 2007 in the Fawcett Oliver Glass & Palmer Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Clendaniel officiating. Burial will be at a later date. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until the hour of service Tuesday.
