Frances Riddle

Frances Riddle, 91, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Monday evening, Mar. 9, 2009 in Westmoreland Place following an extended illness. She was born Apr. 17, 1917 in Hocking County, the daughter of the late Blain and Kate (Tisdale) Reed. On Aug. 28, 1944 she married Harold E. Riddle who preceded her in death July 2, 1991. Surviving are her daughters, Judy Kay and husband, George Baker and Joyce Ann Rahe, all of Chillicothe, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, sisters, Berdine Graves, Kingston and Joann Self, Chillicothe. Her sisters, Dale Teeters, Lucille Congrove, Myrtle Reed, 2 infant sisters, a brother, Hilliard Reed and an infant brother preceded her in death. Mrs. Riddle was an employee of Alcoa, retiring after 30 years of service. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed her flower garden. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:30 am Friday, Mar. 13, 2009 in the Floral Hills Memory Gardens with Rev. Michael Leonard officiating. The family will receive friends at the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Friday.
