Frances B. Bowen

Frances B. Bowen, 100 of Chillicothe passed from this life on Monday, July 19, 2021, in CareCore at Westmoreland following a brief illness.  She was born August 31, 1920, in Sardinia, OH, the daughter of Cary H. and Bessie L. (Sauner) Bowen.

Surviving are her nieces, Beth (Paul) Leach, NC, Peggy (Jim) Blanton, WA, and Kathy (David) McKee, Chillicothe; great-nieces, Denise Hatfield, Chillicothe, Kerry (Art) Gaines, WA, Dawn (David) Duke, NC, Lynn Ramey, WA, and Hillary (L.J.) Kennedy, Chillicothe; great-nephews, Mark (Sharon) Leach, Pickerington, OH, Matt (Tori) Leach, NC, Sean (Christa) McKee, Chillicothe, and Chad (Michele) McKee, Chillicothe; several great-great-nieces and nephews; and a great-great-great nephew.

Frances was a retired accountant for Mead Paper and Jack’s Tires.  She had attended First Presbyterian Church and was a member of Delta Sigma Kappa, the Mead Retiree’s Club, Director of the C.W.B.A., and was a long-time volunteer at Adena Regional Medical Center.

Her family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff of 1 East at Westmoreland for their care and kindness.
