Frances Ackerman, 98, of Chillicothe, died 8:00 PM, Friday, February 2, 2013 in Chillicothe Nursing and Rehabilitaion.
She was born April 12, 1914, in Twin Township, the daughter of Joe and Mabel Grubb Wilt. She was the widow of Milford Ackerman, and also married to Everett White for 41 years. From this union, surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lewis (Esther) Beckwith, FL and Mrs. Bill (Jane) McBride, Utah; three sons, Roger (Carolyn) White, CA, Larry (Linda) White, Franklin Furnace, and Rodney (Ruth) White, Chillicothe; 20 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. One son Ralph White, 2 sisters Rena Volgesang and Edna Wilcox, and three brothers Willard, Rodney and Dwight Wilt preceded her in death.
Mrs. Ackerman attended the Assembly of God Church on Western Ave.
Calling hours will not be observed. Graveside funeral services will be held 11:30 am, Tuesday February 5, 2013 in Twin Township Cemetery with Pastor Don Sparks officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home.
