Flora L. Johnson

Flora L. "Toe" Johnson, 83, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Sunday afternoon, Jan. 16, 2010 in Westmoreland Place following an extended illness. She was born Sept. 7, 1927 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Asa and Rachel (Gilmore) Hallett. On Sept. 21, 1946 she married Ernest Johnson, Jr., who preceded her in death Mar. 2, 1987. Surviving are daughters, Patricia Kerns and Kathy "Sis" and husband, Charles Holloway, all of Chillicothe, sons, Thomas and wife, Carol Johnson, Chillicothe and Ernest and wife, Joyce Johnson, Youngstown, OH, grandchildren, Jamie Moody, Scott Kerns, Joseph Johnson, Mindy Funk, Paula Bode and Jessica Johnson, step grandchildren, Jeremy and Amanda Barrows, great-grandchildren, Victoria and Nathan Moody, Caleb and Lincoln Johnson and Tyler and Brittany Funk. Her parents, a grandchild, Charles Paul Holloway, Jr., a great-grandchild, Joshua Seth Johnson and sisters, Nellie Baxter Smith and Betty Roush preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Fred Fox officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Wednesday.
