Evelyn C. Cartwright

Evelyn C. Cartwright, 83, of Chillicothe, passed from this life early Friday morning, Mar. 9, 2007 in Heartland of Chillicothe following an extended illness. She was born Oct. 7, 1923 in Ross County, the daughter of Everett A. and Ruby (Mitchell) Cartwright. Surviving are sisters, Mary Jane Hatmaker, Norma and husband, Claral Siddons, Patricia and husband, Henry Barlow, all of Chillicothe and Linda Cartwright, Columbus, a brother, Charles and wife, Barb Cartwright, Chillicothe and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Her parents, a sister, Flossie Robinson and a brother, Wilbur Cartwright preceded her in death. Evelyn was an employee of Mead Paper, retiring in 1976. She loved and enjoyed her family and friends and will be remembered as a generous person. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, Mar. 13, 2007 in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Smith offciating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until the hour of service on Tuesday.
