Evelyn G (Cade) Self

Evelyn G. Self, 96, of Miamisburg, passed from this life, 4:51 PM, Monday, October 19, 2015, in the Sycamore Hospital following a brief illness.
She was born July 13, 1919 in Shawnee, OK, the daughter of Dale McDonald Cade and Lassie Glendora Brooks Cade. August 7, 1942, she married James O. Self who preceded her in death November 1, 1997.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Rick Miller, Troy, OH and a son and daughter-in-law Mark and Eileen Self, Miami Township, OH. Her parents, husband, 1 sister and 3 brothers preceded her in death.
Mrs. Self was a very active member of Marshall Road First Church of God. She volunteered at the Family Services Office in Warner-Robins, Georgia, and had been a receptionist at the Chillicothe Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Friday October 23, 2015 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS & PALMER Funeral Home with James Griesheimer officiating.  Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 to 1PM, Friday.
