Eva Ruth Pickard

Eva Ruth Pickard, 85, of Chillicothe passed from this life on Tuesday afternoon, July 17, 2018 in Adena Regional Medical Center.  She was born April 22, 1933 in Virginia, the daughter of Olin and Gladys (Robinson) Smith.  In 1959, she married Francis Bernard Pickard who preceded her in death on November 11, 1985.

Surviving are daughters, Rebecca Bost and Sherri Ackley, both of Chillicothe; son, Jeff Pickard, Carey, NC; grandchildren, Noah Bost, Randy Ackley and Jennifer Ackley Putnam; great-grandchild, Lorelai Ackley;  nieces and nephews,  Connie Waters, Eddie McGonigle, Frances Edwards, Donna Cawood, Debbie Cawood, Danny Cawood and Sharon Osife.  She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters and 3 brothers.

Mrs. Pickard was a retired cashier and bookkeeper for Billings Furniture and Anderson's Pharmacy.  She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 21, 2018 in Greenlawn Cemetery with Pastor Chris Brown officiating.  Public calling hours will not be observed.
