Eston J. Cooper

Eston J. Cooper, 81, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Friday afternoon, Oct. 24, 2008 at his residence following an extended illness. The family will receive friends at the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008. Following cremation, private services will be held at the discretion of the family. Mr. Cooper was born Apr. 10, 1927 in Dry Fork, WV, the son of the late Benjamin E. and Ethel C. (Harper) Cooper. On Dec. 10, 1976 he married Gladys P. Everhart, who survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Jeannie K. Barnhart, Chillicothe, grandchildren, Baylie and Abbigail, sisters Marie, Lois and Marilee, a brother, Ken, special friends, Eddie Adler and Lisa Salley and his special pets, Rambo and Miley. His parents, a sister and 2 brothers preceded him in death. Mr. Cooper was a mechanic for Bullfrog AMC-Jeep, retiring in 1982. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in WW II and was a member of the Church of Chillicothe. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
