Emogene Blair, 89 of Myrtle Beach, SC, formerly of Chillicothe, passed from this life Monday, Mar. 10, 2008 at her residence. She was born Oct. 5, 1918 in Waverly, the daughter of the late William and Ocie (DePugh) Cline. She was married Oct. 6, 1934 to Russell W. Blair who preceded her in death in 1964. Surviving are daughters, Bonnie J. Blair, Myrtle Beach, SC, Dorothy Blair Catching, Chillicothe and Susan Blair Harbert, Waverly and grandsons, John Russell Harbert and William Harbert, both of Waverly. Mrs. Blair was the former owner and operator of The Blair House Bed and Breakfast in Chillicothe. She was a former member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and a current member of New Hope Baptist Church in Myrtle Beach. A funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm Wednesday, Mar. 12, 2008 in the McMillan-Small Funeral Home in Myrtle Beach, SC. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until the hour of service on Wednesday. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, Mar. 14, 2008 in Evergreen Cemetery, Waverly under the direction of the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Grand Strand Humane Society, 3241 Mr. Joe White Ave., Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
