Emma Mae Blevins, 51, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 28, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born June 13, 1960 in Paintsville, KY, the daughter of the late Arnold and Clara (Lehr) Blevins. Surviving is her companion and long time friend, James Olson; daughters, Clara (Jeremy) Taylor and Amanda Blevins; step-sons, James, Ian and Brody Olson; grandchildren, Denver Blevins, C.J. Taylor, Montana Buchanan and Andrew Shaw; a step-grandchild, Robert Olson; a sister, Barbara Blevins and brothers, Lewis Olds and Daniel Blevins, all of Chillicothe. Her parents, 2 sisters, 2 brothers and a niece preceded her in death. Emma had attended Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ in Christian Union where funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, Oct. 3, 2011 with Pastor Mark Clendaniel officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Monday. The FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME is serving the family.
