Emerson "Rod" White

Emerson “Rod” Eugene White, 80, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Monday, January 17, 2022, at his residence following an extended illness. He was born on April 17, 1941, in Long Bottom, OH to the late Romie and Alma (Young) White. In 1959 he married Marjorie J. Harmon, who survives.

Also surviving is his daughter; Tina White (Stephen) Crawford, Nicholasville, KY, sons; Rick (Jamie) White, Chillicothe, and Keith (Terry) White, Trinity, AL, grandchildren; Tiffany (Bryson) Morrison, Dustin (Summer) White, Mercedes White, and Brandi (Tim) Shumway, and a great-grandson; Ryot. He was preceded in death by his brother, Tim White.

Rod worked for many years for the Chillicothe City School system as a school bus mechanic, and also owned and operated White’s Sunoco Station. He was a member of the NRA, and a former member of the Elks Lodge.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday January 24, 2022, in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Dan Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Huntington Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00pm until the hour of service on Monday.
