Eleanor Amanda (Smalley) Reichelderfer

Eleanor Amanda Reichelderfer, 93, of Chillicothe, passed from this life, 3:15 am, Tuesday, April 28, 2015, in the Adena Regional Medical Center following a short illness.
She was born June 8, 1921 in Ashville, OH the daughter of Edward and Bessie Mae Edwards Smalley.  In 1940 she married Arthur Mac Reichelderfer who preceded her in death in 1992.
Surviving are a daughter Judith Elaine Glassburn, two sons and daughters-in-law Timothy Arthur and Kippie  Reichelderfer and Daniel Dean and Gail Reichelderfer, all of Chillicothe; 4 grandchildren, David Allen (Jackie) Glassburn, Steven Arthur ( Angie) Glassburn, Patrick Walden ( Chris) Glassburn and Kurt Eric Reichelderfer, eight great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren. Her parents, husband, and 11 sisters and brothers preceded her in death.
Mrs. Reichelderfer was a homemaker and worked at Sears in the accounts payable department.
Calling hours will not be observed. Memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family. The FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS & PALMER Funeral Home is honored to serve the family. Memorial Contributions may be made to, First United Methodist Church of Chillicothe, or Hospice of Adena Health Systems.
