E. Sue (Hupp) Mcquirt

E. Sue McQuirt, 75, of Chillicothe passed from this life on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 in OSU Medical Center, Columbus following an extended illness.  She was born June 22, 1943 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Christine M. (McIver) Hupp.  On July 22, 1982 she married Richard G. McQuirt who preceded her in death on May 6, 2009.

Surviving are daughters, Donna S. Dennewitz and Beth A. (Duane) Carroll; sons, Sam E. Dennewitz and Dennis D. (Cathy) Dennewitz, all of Chillicothe;  5 step-children; grandchildren, Sarah, Samantha, Suzanne, Keith and Mindy; 14 step-grandchildren; several great grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; sister, Rosalind Hupp, Warren, PA; brothers, Jim (Samantha) Hupp, Ruckersville, VA and Bill (Pat) Hupp, Perrysburg, OH.  Her parents and 3 sisters preceded her in death.

Sue was a former employee of the Veterans Affairs Medical Center and had been a home health care provider for many years.  She was a former member of Walnut St. United Methodist Church and was a long-time blood donor, contributing over 9 gallons.

She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother.  Her beautiful soul lives on.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, August 6, 2018 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Chaplin Billy Morris officiating.  Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Sunday.
