Dorothy E. Woods

Dorothy E. Woods, 87, of Waverly, passed from this life Saturday afternoon, Mar. 31, 2007 in Traditions of Bristol Village. She was born Apr. 10, 1919 in Ross County, the daughter of Clarence and Adella Mae (Tennant) Russell. She was married to Paul E. Woods, Sr., who preceded her in death in 1998. Surviving is a daughter and son-in-law, Beverly Ann and Sam Cooper, Waverly, a son and daughter-in-law, Paul E. Jr., and Vicki E. Woods, Chillicothe, 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, a sister, Phyllis Tweed and sisters-in-law, Donna Russell and Lola Russell, all of Chillicothe. Her parents, a daughter, Etta Jean Woods, 6 brothers and 3 sisters preceded her in death. Mrs. Woods had been an employee of Mead Paper. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Waverly. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, Apr. 4, 2007 in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Pack officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 8 pm on Tuesday.
