Dewey Lee Mccloskey

Dewey Lee McCloskey, 69 of Athens, formerly of Chillicothe passed from this life on Monday morning, September 12, 2016 in Echoing Hills Village, Athens. He was born August 27, 1947 in Ross County, the son of Harold and Rita (Porter) McCloskey.
Surviving is his sister, Donna Nichols, Calhoun, GA; his brother and sister-in-law, Carl R. and Carol McCloskey, Chillicothe; his sister-in-law, Imogene McCloskey, South Salem and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Ray, James, Charles and John and sisters, Louise, Anna Belle and Geraldine.
Mr. McCloskey was an employee of ATCO. He faithfully attended church in Athens.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 16, 2016 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Larry P. Edgington officiating. Burial will follow in Greenfield Cemetery, Greenfield, OH. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
