Daniel R. Neff

Daniel R. Neff, 55 of Columbus passed from this life on Sunday, March 15, 2020 in the Woodland Village Care Center, Mt. Gilead, Ohio.  He was born August 2, 1964 in Chillicothe, the son of Glen and Claudia (Goshorn) Neff.

He is survived  by his mother, Claudia Neff, Columbus; his former wife, Taffy Neff, Westerville, Ohio; his daughter, Raychelle (Andrew) Stockton, Cincinnati; his sons, Anthony Neff, New Albany, Ohio and Zachary (Lisa) Neff, Nashville, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Sophia Neff, Madison Stockton and Harper Stockton; his brothers, Timothy Neff and Gregory (Jennifer) Neff and a host of cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father.

Mr. Neff was a retired Staff Sergeant of the United States Air Force and was the recipient of the Air Force Commendation Medal and the Air Force Achievement Medal.  He was also a member of the Navy Petty Officers Association.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 21, 2020 in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with Michael Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery with military rites by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Saturday.
