Clyde D. Davis

Clyde D. “Don” Davis, 83, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 9, 2013 at his home following an extended illness. He was born October 19, 1929 in Ross County to Guy and Minerva (Fout) Davis. On September 16, 1950 he married Gladys G. Haynes who survives.
Also surviving are his daughters, Nancy (Mike) Dean, Circleville, Sue (Bill) Miller and Juanita Davis, all of Chillicothe; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Dean, Circleville; a sister, Helen Elswick; brothers-in-law, Lloyd Gossett and Hubert Hay and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Bob; an infant sister; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Myrtle McKibben, Hazel Lough, Bob Haynes, Phillip Haynes, Dorothy Crego, Pauline Perkins, John Haynes, Charles Haynes, Gertrude Hay, Ellen Haynes and Majel Gossett.
Mr. Davis was a retired employee of Ross-Co Redi-Mix with 30 years of service. He was a member of Goshen Run Church.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, August 12, 2013 in the Goshen Run Church, Musgrove Road with Pastor Tim Wyman officiating. Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday.
