Cleo E. (Rinehart) Bethel

Cleo E. Bethel, 96, of Chillicothe passed from this life on Monday, August 27, 2018 in Traditions of Chillicothe following an extended illness.  She was born June 16, 1922 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Floyd and Mary (Large) Rinehart.  On June 19, 1943 she married Raymond A. Bethel who preceded her in death December 29, 1981.

Surviving are her daughter, Maria Tosi, Williamsburg, VA; her son, Terry (Becky) Bethel, Bloomington, IN; her grandchildren, Wendy Bethel, Matthew Bethel, Laura Freechack, Justin Tosi, Erin Hyatt and Lauren Tosi; her great-grandchildren, Charlotte Freechack and John Brody Hyatt; and her sister, Louise Parker, Chillicothe.  She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Geraldine, Evelyn, Pauline and Katherine and brothers, Willard, Bobby, Charles and Carl.

Mrs. Bethel was one of 10 siblings and enjoyed her family.  She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Traditions of Chillicothe for their care and compassion.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, August 30, 2018 in Reber Hill Cemetery, Ashville, OH with Chaplin Bill Morris officiating.  Calling hours will not be observed.  The family suggests memorial contributions to a charity of choice.
