Cheryl Click (Evans), 70, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on August 16, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family after a courageous and hard-fought battle with cancer.
She was born March 19, 1954, in Chillicothe to the late R. Ted and L. Jane (Acord) Click.
Surviving are two children, Joshua and Lindsay; granddaughters Zoe and Izabela; brothers Mark (Diane) and Hans (Gina) Click; a nephew and several nieces, many great- and great-great nieces and nephews; aunt Peggy Gallager; several cousins; beloved dog Poppy, and several grand dogs and cats. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers Teddy and Tim Click, sister-in-law Judy Click, and her special nephew Ryan Click.
Cheryl was a graduate of Unioto High School class of 1972 and a member of the Chillicothe Seventh-Day Adventist Church. After high school she worked for Dairyland Insurance. Later she worked alongside her parents and brothers at Click’s Valley Vending. Her love of children prompted her to open her own daycare. Many of those children still have kept in touch, but, her most important job was being a mother, grandmother, aunt, and caregiver to her family. Cheryl always put the needs of her family and others before her own. She was selfless.
Cheryl’s family wishes to extend their sincere thank you to Frontier Community Services for the excellent care and support during this difficult time; and, to her aide, Kaylee, who was a blessing to her and stayed by her side.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday October 5, 2024 in the Chillicothe Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 510 Metzger Ave., Chillicothe, OH, with Pastor Ron Anderson and Pam Bethel, officiating.
