Charles B. "Barney" Miller, 82, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009 in the Tabernacle Baptist Church with Rev. Steven Schmidt officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at Tabernacle Baptist Church from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday. He was born Sept. 19, 1926 in Chillicothe, the son of George and Nellie (Buxton) Miller. On Sept. 22, 1966 he married Evangeline Anders who preceded him in death Oct. 25, 2001. Surviving is a sister, Louise Saunders, Ashville, Oh, a brother, Raymond Miller, Charlotte, NC, a close friend, Bernard L. Bowers, Chillicothe and a host of nieces and nephews. His parents, a sister and several brothers preceded him in death. Barney was a retired laborer. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial Committee of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
