Charles Madru, Jr.

Charles Madru, Jr., 70, of Chillicothe, unexpectedly passed from this life Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 22, 2008 in Englewood, FL. He was born Dec. 3, 1937 in Beaver, OH, the son of Charles and Nancy (Travis) Madru. Surviving are sisters, Barbara N. Turpin, Patricia A. DePugh and Linda C. (Roger) Gray, all of Chillicothe, brothers, David (Barbara) Madru and Steven P. Madru, all of Chillicothe, an uncle, Harold C. (Nettie) Madru, Chillicothe, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and special friends, J.C. Collins and the New Vision Outreach, Leroy and Jean Gray and Danny Patrick. His parents preceded him in death. In his earlier years, Charles helped his father at Madru Plumbing. He enjoyed raising rabbits, music, dancing, riding his bicycle, fishing and gatherings with his family and friends. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Friday, Feb. 1, 2008 with Fr. Lawrence Hummer, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Margaret's Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, with a Time of Remembrance observed at 7:45 pm.
