Charles Delbert Holder, Jr. 63, of Chillicothe, formerly of Wilmington, NC, passed from this life early Monday morning, Feb. 26, 2007 at his residence. He was born Feb. 19, 1944 in Wilmington, NC, the son of Charles Delbert Holder Sr., and Louella Edwards Holder. His wife, the former Linda Bordeaux survives. Also surviving is a son, Chad Holder, Mobile, AL, a daughter, Kelly Holder-Wiltzius and husband, Christian, Milwaukee, WI, a sister, Jenell Shores and husband, Howard Shores, II and their son, Howard Shores, III, Pensacola, FL and daughter, Shaunda Wilson, Jacksonville, NC. Mr. Holder was a research scientist in the pulp and paper manufacturing field. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Mar. 1, 2007 in the Coble Ward Smith Funeral Home, 3915 Oleander Dr., Wilmington, NC. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Wilmington. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Adena Health System, 111 W.
