Charles F. Dearth

Charles F. Dearth, 69, of Chillicothe, passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on Saturday January 24, 2026 in Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born on May 29, 1956 in Chillicothe, the son of Denver Howard and Helen (Drake) Dearth.

Surviving is his daughter, Robin (Casey) Stewart, Chillicothe; granddaughters, Ellee and Baylee Stewart, brothers, David R. (Sandi) Dearth, TX; and Carl H. (Cindi) Dearth, Frankfort, brother-in-law, Jack Martin, several special nieces and nephews in Texas, long time friend, Steve Betts, and his pinochle buddies, Bo Fink, and Mike Johnson. He was preceded in death by his father, Denver Dearth, mother and step-father, Helen and Gale Woods, sister, Mary Martin, brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Jan Dearth,  nephew, John Dearth, and nieces Shannon Olds, and Amy Sandlin Snell.

Charles has worked construction for both Eastern Ave. Lumber and DuPont. He loved fishing, golfing, bowling, and playing cards, and was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns.

In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated.  There will be no public services.  A private service will be held at the discretion of the family.
