Cecilia I. (Hickey) Ferguson

Cecilia Imelda Ferguson, 73, of Chillicothe passed from this life on Thursday, January 3, 2019 in Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born May 31, 1945 in Columbus, OH as one of seventeen children to the late William & Susan Hickey. On June 2, 1962 she married Richard Ferguson who preceded her in death.

Surviving are her three children: Richard (Heidi) Ferguson Jr., Tami (Dennis) Doyle, both of Chillicothe, and Kelly (Wayne) Swint of Columbus; her grandchildren: Crissie Gibson, Anthony (Angie) Swint, Amber (Josh) Tripp, Nick (Bailey) Ferguson, Dustin Doyle, & Ryan Ferguson and her siblings Tommy (Sue) Hickey, Patti Walters, several great grandchildren and a multitude of nieces and nephews.

Cecilia worked at Pickaway Area Recovery Services in Circleville for more than 20 years. She was a dedicated worker who enjoyed those she worked with. Cecilia most enjoyed the Ohio State Buckeyes & Sunday dinners with her family.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 6, 2019 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Barry Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
