Carolyn Sue Starr

Carolyn Sue Starr, 75, of Chillicothe passed from this life on Monday afternoon, June 11, 2018 in Heartland of Chillicothe following and extended illness.  She was born April 15, 1943 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Robert E. Starr, Sr. and Dorothy A. (Mercer) Starr.

Surviving are her sister, Judith M. Jones and her companion, Howard Elliott, Chillicothe; brothers, Philip W. (Brenda) Starr, Groveport and John W. Starr, Chillicothe.  Her parents and brother, Robert E. Starr, II preceded her in death.

Carolyn was a librarian for the Veterans Affairs Medical Center for more than 30 years.  She enjoyed music and reading and was an enthusiastic animal lover.  She was preceded in death by many of her animal companions.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 16, 2018 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Fr. Sean Dooley officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Margarets Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Saturday.  Memorial contributions in memory of Carolyn may be made to the Ross County Humane Society, rosscountyhumanesociety.org.
