Carol L. Goshorn

Carol L. Goshorn, 72, of Chillicothe passed from this life on Thursday morning, April 9, 2015 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born April 2, 1943 in Columbiana, Ohio, the daughter of Paul and Dorothy (Strank) Schillinger. In 1962 she married Richard E. Goshorn who survives.
Also surviving is a daughter, Terri (Jim) Dawson, Merritt Island, Florida; sons, Richard P. Goshorn, Chillicothe and Scott F. Goshorn, Los Angeles, California; grandchildren, Madisen Goshorn, Taylor Dawson and Derek Dawson; a special friend, Carol Slagle, Chillicothe and her Kear Realty family. Her parents preceded her in death.
Carol was a Director of Kear Realty with more than 20 years of service. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. A master gardener, she enjoyed rug hooking. Carol will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, April 13, 2015 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Rev. John Welch officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Monday.
