Carol Sue Bennett, 56 of Ray, Ohio passed from this life on Monday evening, January 25, 2016 in Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born August 18, 1959 in Troy, Ohio, the daughter of Henry E. and Elsie C. (Gaines) Bennett.
Surviving is her companion and partner of 35 years, John S. Baxter, Sr., Ray; her son, Scott (Jamie) Bennett, Chillicothe; grandchildren, Hayley, Ethan, Lanny, Austin, Sammantha and Connor; a great-grandchild on the way; sisters, Shirley McQuay, Nancy (Delbert) Perry, Marilyn (Rob) Jones and Patricia Jones, all of Chillicothe; a brother, Ricky Bennett, Chillicothe and special nieces, Melissa and Nikki Thompson, Chillicothe. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and a brother.
Mrs. Bennett was a homemaker and a devoted mother and grandmother.
Private services will be held at the discretion of her family. Calling hours will not be observed. The FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME is honored to serve the family.
