Bunny J (Fetters) Rittinger

Bunny J. Rittinger, 71, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Thursday October, 10, 2024 in Riverside Hospital.  She was born on April 7, 1953 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Truman and Pauline (Powell) Fetters.  On July 6, 1973 she married Keith Rittinger, who survives.

Also surviving is her son Jason (Denielle) Rittinger, Chillicothe; grandchildren, Jaiden Rittinger and Cambriana (CJ) Rittinger, sisters, Belinda Stotridge, Chillicothe; and Beverly (David) Johnson, Cleveland, TN; a brother, Bill (Becky) Fetters, Chillicothe; many nieces, nephews, and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Robert Fetters, Sr., and Barbara Nichols.

Bunny was a 1971 graduate of Zane Trace High School.  She had worked as a school bus driver for 15 years for the Chillicothe City Schools, and for 8 years worked for the Chillicothe Gazette.  Bunny enjoyed watching women’s softball, but most of all she loved being with her grandchildren, Jaiden and CJ, supporting them in all their sporting activities, and was affectionately known as the “team grandma”.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday October 15, 2024 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Brett Fisher, officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until the hour of service on Tuesday.
