Brenda D. Hougland

Brenda D. Hougland, 64, of Chillicothe, unexpectedly passed from this life on Sunday, November 28, 2021, in Adena Regional Medical Center. She was born August 20, 1957, in Chillicothe, the daughter of Richard C. and Gloria J. (Cupp) Hougland.

Surviving are her sisters, Kathryn (Roger) Young and Debra (David) Michael; her brother, Richard A. Hougland, all of Chillicothe; her special friend, Beth Dowler; her “fur-babies,” Idget and Buddy; and an uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Her parents preceded her in death.

Brenda was an employee of Wal-Mart, retiring in April 2021.

Following cremation, a Service of Remembrance will be held at 5:00 pm on Friday, December 10, 2021, in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Rev, Jim Wade officiating. Calling hours will not be observed. The family requests that those attending please wear a mask. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Ross County Humane Society.
