Brenda M. Hinton

Brenda M. Cook Hinton, 61, of Chillicothe, passed from this life, 1:52 PM, Tuesday, April 6, 2010 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness during which Tom was her only caregiver. She was born June 13, 1948 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Elijah L. and Olga M. Nichols Cook. April 11, 1969 she married Tom Hinton who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Sonya Renee, Chillicothe, and Heather, Columbus; 5 grandchildren, Suzy Hinton, who Brenda and Tom raised, Travis Carter, Carissa Hines, Samantha Carter, and Joshua Hines; and three sisters, Glenda Matson, Stuart, FL, Melody Hailer, Manchester, TN, and Joy Spetnagel, Chillicothe, and a sister-in-law, Marla (John) Harris, Waverly. Along with her parents, one brother Lester Cook preceded her in death. Mrs. Hinton worked at McDonald's on East Main St, where she attended to her special customers and friends for about 7 years. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, April 10, 2010 in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with Rev. Aaron Satterfield officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 PM Friday.
