Bonnie Jobe, 88, of Chillicothe, passed from this life early Tuesday morning, June 30, 2009 in The Vineyard of Concord in Frankfort. She was born Jan. 16, 1921 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Russell and Nettie (Fogel) Spetnagel. On Mar. 1, 1951 she married Harmon Jobe who preceded her in death Sept. 5, 2008. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shelva Jean and David Ramey, Chillicothe, grandchildren, Vickie and husband, James Robertson, Bonnie and husband, Terry Russell and Tammie and husband, Robert Howard, great grandchildren, Isaac and wife, Crystal Robertson, Emily Robertson, Amy and husband, James Turner and Andy Russell, great-great grandchildren, Layla and Caden Robertson, a sister, Eleanor Richards, Chillicothe and brothers, Wayne Spetnagel and Paul Spetnagel, both of Chillicothe and Joseph Spetnagel, AZ and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Her parents and brothers, Donald, Max and Russell Jr. preceded her in death. Mrs. Jobe was an employee of US Shoe with 35 years of service. She attended the First Church of God. She enjoyed square dancing and was devoted to her family. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and friend and will be missed by those who knew her. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm Friday, July 3, 2009 in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with the Revs. Greg Pennington and Bob Rose officiating. Burial will follow in Browns' Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:30 am until the hour of service on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of God Building Fund, 789 E. Water St., Chillicothe, OH 45601.
