Bonnie (Carmean) Betz

Bonnie Betz, 91, of Chillicothe, formerly of Kingston, OH and Vero Beach, FL, passed from this life on Tuesday July 4, 2023 at her residence.  She was born on July 9, 1931 in Chillicothe to the late Arthur (Deb) and Doris Lavena (Clemmons) Carmean.  On December 6, 1947 she married Charles D. Betz who preceded her in death on August 11, 2018.

Surviving is her son David Brent Betz, Vero Beach, FL, granddaughters, Denise Elaine Olmeda and Janet (Jay) Berryhill, a great granddaughter, Juli Olmeda and fiancé Justin, sisters, Carol Slagle, Chillicothe, and Jean Carter, Circleville, and her beloved dog Sam.  She was preceded in death by her daughter and son in law, Becky and Gene Massie, a son, Charles Casey Betz, brothers, Bo, David, Donnie, and Butch, and brothers in law, Bill Carter and John Slagle.

Bonnie had made her home here for the last 4 years, and was a member of the Kingston Field of Grace Church.  Bonnie was fun to be around and loved life.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday July 9, 2023 in the Kingston Field of Grace Church, Kingston, OH with Pastor Jammie Wilhelm, officiating.
